Welcome to www.oneteaminglasgow.co.uk!
Welcome to our new site. This site is part of a replacement for the excellent dot net site that had been the newspaper and repository of facts of all things concerned with Partick Thistle - and the focus for discussion of all matters relating to Partick Thistle from the fans’ perspective - for ten years.
Indeed such was the success of dot net that it will never really be replaced but our attempt to offer something will hopefully provide a resource that fans can turn to time and again. Alan Murray and I have been working with Lianne over the last couple of months to get this going and I have to say that without Lianne’s continuing help and support we would never have got this off the ground in time. Parts of the site are not yet fully operative, but this should be sorted over the next few weeks - so please bear with us.
We have also to thank a team of individuals who have come forward to assist by writing features and articles for inclusion on this site. Some regular feature items from dot net that we are hoping to include will not appear immediately as we have as yet been unable to make contact with their authors due to the holidays. In particular we have to thank the match reporters who have decided to put their names forward for this unenviable task - without them this site would have been very difficult to operate effectively.
Lianne had built such a monumental site that no less than three individual sites are involved in replacing the dotnet site. As noted above, the main page part of dot net is the site which includes the match reports, features and news items is the one that we have put together here. The prediction competition will not go ahead this year as we did not have enough time to organise this but this will be reintroduced next year. Lianne has also allowed us to continue items such as TAPIRAY which will eventually be held on the main stand website but are presently berthed elsewhere with links provided here as before. You may notice a difference in the presentation of these features and that is because Lianne has transferred them into main stand format to make it easier for transfer over the course of this year. We will not be operating the forum - another group have taken this on board however as with the previous dotnet site navigation between each will be more or less the same.
Indeed, it is envisaged that the user experience will be the same as that experienced on the dotnet site, the three separate sites operating individually but linked from the main page of this site and travel back and forth similar to before. This still allows the user to go directly to this site, the jagsforum site, the main stand site or to have access to all from here. Navigation will eventually be as straightforward as on dotnet for all items - no matter on which site they are held - they will be able to be accessed from the navigation menu by a simple click. There will be some teething problems but they should be ironed out over the next couple of weeks.
In conclusion thanks again to Lianne, Willjag, our team of reporters and writers and to you for visiting this site.
I know I speak for many when I say “thanks guys” for taking this on and I just know you’re going to make a real success of it.
David.

Well done for stepping into the breach!
For those of us who currently live 10,000 miles from Firhill, its good to still be able to keep up with the team, the gossip and the Jags fans.

Well done guys,
Thanks for maintaining a voice for the the real lovers of the club, the news that Leanne had been scunnard by the attitude of the board was very sad, as the site she provided was brilliant.
Good luck with this new site, i’m sure it will provide us with the honest, unofficial info that the old site was so good at.
MON THE JAGS!!!!!!!!

Hello There,
It is sad to say goodbye to Lianne and her great site, but it is great to still have another Jags source out there.
