To commemorate the Centenary year of Firhill Stadium a photographic exhibition will open at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum on 25 July and will run until 6 September.

Featuring many previously unseen photographs from the Herald and Times Group archive, the exhibition follows the changes over 100 years of the way the football ground has been used.

  • From muddy patch of earth to a 50,000 plus capacity stadium to the lopsided ground of today.
  • From crowds of mainly working class men in flat caps to families dressed in replica kits.
  • From greyhound racing to boxing, to American football and rugby, with football the constant feature.

Entry is free.

Opening hours: Monday to Thursday and Saturday 10am to 5pm, Friday and Sunday 11am to 5pm.
