As fans head up the Mayhill way on Saturday, they will be saddened to hear of the demise of the Hokey Cokey, a dance performed by many Jags fans on the terraces of Firhill at this festive time, pre - alcohol ban days. They will also be saddened to hear of the recent death of the writer of the song; the latest news from the funeral parlour is that they are having one helluva job getting the body into the coffin!
Ian McCall will have to have his team ready for a fight on Saturday, with the Adams family and Professor Higgins wanting to keep their 100% record against the jags this season.
Both Ian Maxwell and Damon Gray will miss the game through injury. Lack of fitness could also restrict both Stephen McKeown and Alan Archibald to tomorrow’s bench.
So it should be the team that played so well against Dundee that will be given the chance to beat Ross County for the first time this season.
