Thistle play host to Fife neighbors Raith Rovers this Saturday and with no sign of Steve Lovell on Maryhill Road, it looks like boss McCall will go with the team that gained an honourable draw against Ross County last week.
Rovers have massive injury problems for this game with Ian Williamson and Ian Davidson definitely out and Laurie Ellis, Darren Smith and Graham Weir very doubtful; also very doubtful is “smoker” Stephen Simmons. If Stephen makes an appearance, he will receive a very warm welcome from the Jags fans who remember his antics in a cup-tie at East End Park, while playing for his former club Dunfermline Athletic.
