The “Bunnet” brings his much improved Forfar team to Firhill for the second round of the Cooperative Insurance Cup [why couldn’t they have kept the name C.I.S cup} I wonder what kind of reception Mr.Campbell will receive from the fans, it might just be worthwhile turning up for that!
Ian McCall will probably make a few changes to the side that achieved a magnificent victory over Dunfermline on Saturday with one or maybe two new faces added to the squad.
No word on the fitness of Mark Roberts as of yet – however newspaper reports suggest his substitution was only precautionary. Whether McCall will take a risk on him remains to be seen given the shortage of strikers to choose from.
Stephen McKeowns late winner must put him in contention for a place within the midfield. Gary Harkins and Scott Chaplain were below par on Saturday but given Harkins temporary status as captain Chaplain is probably the most at risk of losing his place.
Forfar had a good 3-1 victory away from home against Albion Rovers, with some of the recognised names appearing for them were, Darren Brady, Sean Kilgannon,Craig Winter and Derek Lilley.Pat Keoch has signed for them, but was not included in the squad(probably injured).
