Thistle head up the A9 to Inverness to take on the local Caledonian Thistle in the 4th round of the Scottish Cup. This will be the first of Thistle’s three point masterplan towards prosperity and a win or even a draw would please the suits of Firhill.
Apart from Mr. Maxwell who has a broken metatarsal, a full squad should travel north, although Buchanan, MacKinlay, McKeown and Twaddle are carrying slight knocks.
Inverness will have Paul McGuire missing, who is ill and also suspended. I am sure Dougie Imrie will be the Inverness player who will receive the warmest welcome from the Jags fans.
The draw for the 5th round of the cup will take place on Sunday 11th of January 2009 after the Hibs v Hearts game at Easter Road
