Firhill Music Collective
FIRHILL MUSIC COLLECTIVE- second gig.
Maryhill Juniors Ground 12.30 Saturday November 1st.
If you are wondering how to increase your enjoyment of the saturday footballing experience then why not go to a Jags oriented pre-match gig? The Firhill Music Collective are having their second prematch gig at the Maryhill Juniors ground this Saturday. The line up this week features a couple of legends of the Glasgow bands scene.
First up is the front man and song writing partner of Glasgow Rock n Roller’s The Ronelles: Raymond Meade. Although The Ronelles are enjoying an extended break at present, Raymond has been keeping himself busy with a few solo gigs, so be sure to expect a mixture of some new songs as well as some old classics.
Second up are ‘Le Teef’. Le Teef were formed by a couple of the founding members of Glasgow’s NME favourites, Kain. Since then, drummer Neil has moved on, but songwriter/frontman, Wilf, still remains. Partnered on guitars by Andy and on vocals by Kim, this 3 piece have some great tunes under their belt as their demo EP proves.
