After the departure of Murray at Wimbledon, the Jags followed up with the departure of Harkins and Twaddle to Dundee and Falkirk respectively .To ease the pain of these departures Mr. McCall went shopping and brought in Bryan Hodge from Blackburn, Patrick Boyle from Dumbarton and the legendary Jim Hamilton from St Mirren and it is more than probable we will catch a glimpse of these players in our friendly against Stirling Albion.

The fans who witnessed the closed door friendly against Queens Park through the gaps in the fences, will also be hoping to see the impressive Spanish trialist don the Thistle shirt again.

Stirling Albion lost their first pre-season friendly 1-0 against Dunfermline on Wednesday night. The Albion had to field nearly a full team of trialists due to holidays and injuries.
