The area itself has had a large influx of immigrants over the last few years and the purpose of this event is to create opportunities to celebrate diversity and create opportunities for interaction amongst the different ethnic groups within the area.  (more…)

How to make easy cash for the Jags Trust.

Filed under: News — Alan Murray @ 9:28 am

We are going to raise some free cash for the Jags Trust. This first part will only take around ten minutes and around £16 will go to the Trust.

Raise funds for free

First if you have not already registered then do this here http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/Register/

Fill in your details and pick the Jags Trust as your Charity / Organisation. Jags trust is under‘t’.

1.    I love film trial – You get two free films as part of the trial and £8 pounds makes its way to the trust! As long as you cancel the subscription no charge will be made to your card. I opted to keep the service going because of the excellent service and the fact you don’t need to bother dropping of the DVD at the local hire shop – you just need to post it off!. Fancy watching “Slumdog Millionaire” and “Yes Man”for free?

2.    Register with e bay - Everybody uses E bay right? If you set up an account through the Easyfundrasing link and make a bid within 30 days then £4 makes its way to the Jags Trust. I am sure Willjag has some more Jags Trust auctions on the way shortly.  Remember also that shopping through the Easyfundraing link means that the Trust gets a 15% Donation on every purchase made on e bay!

3.    The national lottery online – register online and purchase a ticket and £2 makes its way to the Jags Trust. It is far more convenient to play online anyway. You will need your credit/debit card ready. Why wait in a big queue every week – you don’t even need to check your ticket as it tells you when you are a winner!

4.    T-Mobile – 2 free pay you go SIM cards. All you need to do is give your e mail and address and two free sim cards are yours. This gives a £1.00 donation to the trust.

5.    Mazuma Mobile - Recycle Your Old Mobile Phone for Cash and earn 75p for your cause. You must have seen the TV ads. If you have an old phone you don’t use you can earn cash by sending it to this company. You can do a search for your mobile on their website to see how much you will get. It earns a 75p donation to the trust and you receive some extra cash for your old mobile.

6.    Tesco Mobile - 60p Donation When You Order 1 or 2 Free Sim Cards From Tesco Mobile. All you need to do is enter your address and email to get free sim cards and 60p makes it way to the trust.

We now have raised £16.35 for just a few minutes work! This will not show straight away in your total as some take a short while to show. Remember that you need to bid within 30 days of opening your e bay account to activate the donation to the JT. Also the I love film subscription will need to be cancelled if you don’t want to continue the service.  Look out for part two were will be completing the free funds section.
